WILLS

Do I need a Will?

Even if you do nothing else in terms of your asset or estate planning, you should do a Will.

As the saying goes, the only two certainties in life are death and taxes. Without a Will, upon your death, your assets will be distributed in accordance with the Administration Act 1969. That means your estate is likely to be distributed differently to what you would expect. It also means the legal fees for your lawyer to administer your estate will be higher, because the process is more complex.

Making a Will

Doing a Will is not difficult. For most of our clients, a simple Will is the preferred option. That means different things to different people, as families come in all shapes and sizes and often have their own unique dynamics. We can assist you to prepare a Will that is clear, allowing your wishes to be easily followed when your estate is administered.

Cost

Making a Will at Sumpter Moore will cost $500 for an individual and $750 for a couple (inclusive of GST).
